Adam Rykse


Adam Rykse is in his fifth season as a Dunes Volleyball Club Coach.

Rykse is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Valparaiso University volleyball program this fall. As an assistant, he continues to work primarily with the servers and blockers for Valpo. Rykse had previously served as the program’s graduate assistant from 2013-15 , where he helped guide the Crusaders to 50 total victories and an appearance in the Horizon League Tournament championship match. 

Rykse spent the 2015 season as the Video and Statistical Coordinator for the Michigan State University volleyball program. With MSU, he was responsible for all aspects of DataVolley statistical collection, breakdown, and analysis, as well as managing all of the team’s film. Rykse previously spent time with Muskegon C.C., where he served as an assistant coach in 2012 after spending the 2011 season as a hitting instructor. He also served as the school’s sports information director for the 2012-2013 school year.

Rykse is a 2012 graduate of Michigan State University, and a 2015 graduate of Valparaiso University. While at MSU, he competed on the nationally-ranked club volleyball team for four years
